  • 26^th TCF adopts UK Trusted Mobile Payment Framework

    The TCF board has agreed to adopt the UK Trusted Mobile Payments Framework (UK TMPF), which was developed to provide consumers with a safe and trustworthy way to pay for low-cost services on their mobile phone.

  • 26^th Infrastructure standards for new sub-divisions

    The TCF’s local government working party (LGWP) has developed a set of high-level principles setting out the minimum standards for telecommunications infrastructure in new sub-divisions.

  • 26^th Code on international mobile roaming to be developed

    The international mobile roaming working party has started work on developing a self-regulated code for the information that should be provided to customers about international mobile roaming.

  • 26^th Ultrafast Broadband Working Party Update

    The UFB Working Party is close to achieving our objective of delivering a suite of standards covering the implementation of Ultrafast broadband throughout New Zealand.

  • 26^th Revised Customer Transfer Code due out in August

    An amended version of the draft Customer Transfer Code will be released for public consultation in August.

  • 26^th IP Interconnection working party update

    The IP interconnection working party has developed a revised project scope and appointed a new independent chair, Peter Harris (who also chairs the UFB working party).

  • 26^th Submissions on draft Mobile Messaging Services Code close soon

    The deadline for submissions on the TCF draft Mobile Messaging Services Working Code has been extended until 5pm, Friday, 30 July, 2010.

  • 8^th 2degrees rejoins the TCF

    The TCF is pleased to announce that mobile network company 2degrees has rejoined the organisation.

  • 3^rd TCF Broadsheet - May

    This month's Broadsheet includes an update on working party activity in the areas of Ultra Fast Broadband and IP Interconnection and looks at common customer complaints via the TDR.

  • 30^th First companies sign Emergency Calling Code

    Kordia, Orcon, Telecom, TelstraClear and Vodafone have signed the Emergency Calling Code developed by the TCF to make sure that 111 calls are reliably delivered. More companies expected to follow.
